I’d like to pilot a Webinar, Transforming the Conversation in Your Head About Yourself, God and Life. It’s designed to equip people with tools for creating a more empowering relationship to their faith or spirituality. One aspect of this is “shedding religion” – disappearing from your life those ways of thinking and being that have separated you from God, yourself, others and life. Another component is taking on new ways of being within one’s faith or spirituality so it can more effectively inspire, guide, support and empower the life you desire to live.

Since writing three books about my “shedding religion to find God” journey and connecting with many others on a similar path, I have seen how religion, faith and spirituality can either be the greatest obstacle or greatest asset when it comes to our relationship with ourselves, God, others, and life.

The Webinar is designed as a 10-week cohort group. Included in the experience is:

1) Weekly group Webinar session with Jim

2) Dedicated Facebook Page for online group interaction

3) One-on-one coaching with Jim

This will be the inaugural group for a seminar I want to develop and offer throughout the U.S. and world. “Inaugural” is a nice word for saying “guinea pigs.” However, it’s an opportunity for you to help me shape what this becomes. I wish I could do this at no cost. I can’t. I have bills to pay and generating income is vital these days with the recent loss of my book contract and self-publishing my upcoming book. It’s all good and gonna work out but I’m not in a position to pour myself into launching new projects that generate no income. Besides, making a financial commitment to participate will put more at stake for you and your level of commitment.

I am limiting the Webinar to 12 people, and the cost will be $200 per person for the entire 10-week experience. The amount can be paid through PayPal. I would prefer participants covering all the cost on the front end so it doesn’t require a lot of energy trying to manage 12 different payment arrangements. The way I see it, if 12 people participate at $200 a person, I can truly devote the time and energy to sink my teeth into this thing! I am expecting 2 things to be true at the end of those 10 weeks: 1) You will have a different way of being with your faith or spirituality that will be transformative in every aspect of your life, and 2) It will be a much better seminar because of your partnership and participation in it.

If your religion, faith or spirituality has been a hindrance to a healthy relationship with yourself, God, others and life, or if you want to explore new possibilities for the role of your religion, faith or spirituality in your life, this is a perfect opportunity for you. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy. You’re going to have to want it and fight for it. For some people, the $200 might be a challenge. I know if you’re truly interested you’ll figure it out or find a way.
